The Havan Process
What Happens During Maa Baglamukhi Havan?
A traditional Havan combines prayer, Sankalp, Mantra recitation and offerings into the sacred fire.
The Havan Process
- Sankalp is taken according to the purpose of the Havan.
- Puja and Havan preparations are arranged.
- Traditional Mantras are recited.
- Offerings are made into the fire according to the procedure.
- The Havan concludes with prayer and the completion of the Sankalp.
What Should You Expect?
A sincere Havan is best approached as devotion, not as a transaction for a guaranteed result. Devotees value faith, discipline, emotional release and spiritual focus. The exact procedure varies by the type of Havan, the Sankalp and temple arrangements.
